Wise Elephant Consulting is also a partner of Minnesota’s Department of Vocational Rehab Services, providing Pre-Employment Transition Services to youth with disabilities. Some of the best entrepreneurs start life learning differently than their peers, which leads them to become successful in business through creative thinking!
Parenting Through Brokenness is a passion that connects with the heart of how Bekkah thinks and sees business interconnect with families and their employees. Through her own journey as a foster parent and later adopted parent, her understanding of the transition process to adulthood for those who have experienced trauma and ACE’s (Adverse Childhood Experiences) can impact their success, create worries for parents, and produce some complicated situations for employers. Bekkah works with parents to find the resources necessary to transition their children into adulthood, supports educational conferences, and offers consulting to business owners employing those with ACE’s.
Business Talk Sister Gawk is a podcast that demystifies business so others can try it for themselves. This was founded in 2020 by Ruthie Dixon and Bekkah Anderson to give an outlet for budding entrepreneurs to learn skills they will need in order to become successful business owners. Though Ruthie has had to step away to grow her other entrepreneurial endeavors, Bekkah still runs this program, developing content to help educate others.

A Vocational Rehabilitation Services Partner:
Wise Elephant Consulting has VRS division that works the Department of Vocational Rehabilitation Services (VRS) to provide pre-employment transition services to youth ages 14-21. This is a great step towards helping students become independent and feel confident entering the work force. We also work with local businesses throughout the community to provide paid learning and volunteering experiences for students to be able to build their resumes. From job shadowing and learning about one’s ability to request supports to maintain employment, to exploring what career and budget seems like the best fit to meet one’s future goals, Wise Elephant Consulting supports students and adults through navigating employment and obtaining the skills to be employable.
